The Bar Association of Seychelles ("BAS") awards the title of Senior Counsel (often abbreviated to SC) to the most experienced and distinguished Attorneys-at-Law. It is the country's equivalent to the United Kingdom's Queens Counsel (QC) title. One of the hallmarks of the award is that the Attorney must have a distinguished career as a courtroom advocate and contributed significantly to the Seychelles' jurisprudence. Presently, the title has been bestowed upon 4 Attorneys, they are, in chronological order of being awarded the title: SENIOR COUNSEL
